In this page, you can find the list of the main technologies I developed during my research activities.
However, if you are interested in the research projects I have been involved, please go to: Research Projects
R-Classify
R-Classify is a web tool that assists users in identifying the most relevant concepts according to a large-scale ontology of research areas in the field of Computer Science.
AIDA-Bot
AIDA-Bot can answer natural language questions about scientific articles, research concepts, researchers, institutions, and research venues.
[Python] Clique Percolation Method
Clique Percolation Method (CPM) is an algorithm for finding overlapping communities within networks, introduced by Palla et al. (2005, see references). This project implements CPM in Python.
AIDA Dashboard
The AIDA Dashboard is a tool for exploring and making sense of scientific conferences, by integrating statistical analysis, semantic technologies, and visual analytics.
Academia/Industry DynAmics (AIDA) Knowledge Graph
Academia/Industry DynAmics (AIDA) Knowledge Graph describes 14M publications and 8M patents integrating data from Microsoft Academic Graph, Dimensions, DBpedia, the Computer Science Ontology, and the Global Research Identifier Database.
CSO Classifier
The CSO Classifier is a new unsupervised approach for automatically classifying research papers according to the Computer Science Ontology (CSO), a comprehensive ontology of research areas in the field of Computer Science.
CSO Portal
The CSO Portal is a web application that enables users to download, explore, and provide granular feedback on CSO at different levels. Users can use the portal to rate topics and relationships, suggest missing relationships, and visualise sections of the ontology.
Computer Science Ontology
The Computer Science Ontology (CSO) is a large-scale, granular, and automatically generated ontology of research areas which includes 14,164 topics and 162,121 semantic relationships. CSO was created by applying the Klink-2 algorithm on a dataset of 16M scientific articles, primarily in the field of Computer Science.
Smart Topic Miner
Smart Topic Miner (STM) is a web application which uses Semantic Web technologies to classify scholarly publications on the basis of Computer Science Ontology (CSO), a very large automatically generated ontology of research areas.
Smart Book Recommender
The Smart Book Recommender (SBR) is a semantic application designed to support the Springer Nature editorial team in promoting their publications at Computer Science venues. It takes as input the proceedings of a conference and suggests books, journals, and other conference proceedings that are likely to be relevant to the attendees of the conference in question.
Garden Monitor
The Garden Monitor is a mobile application for Android, which supports efficient water management by generating a customized calendar advising users on whether and when they may need to water their garden over the following ten days. The application is able to learn the specific behaviour of a garden and forecast its future conditions by integrating data from weather forecasts, garden sensors, and personal and public weather stations.
[R] Clique Percolation Method
Clique Percolation Method (CPM) is an algorithm for finding overlapping communities within networks, introduced by Palla et al. (2005, see references). This project implements CPM in R.
Rexplore
Rexplore leverages novel solutions in large-scale data mining, semantic technologies and visual analytics, to provide an innovative environment for exploring and making sense of scholarly data.
Export Graph in R via JSON
Few functionalities that allow to export and import an igraph objects from and into the R session.
XMLResearcherProfile
XMLResearcherProfile is a technology for tracking and presenting academics’ profile.
